Future Musical Events at St. Mary's

A Chorus of Peace is presented by CitySingers of Hartford. The program’s theme is based on the 15th century tune “L’homme Arme” (The Armed Man) and focuses on what it means to strive for peace. Music includes a work by Welsh composer Karl Jenkins based on the tune, settings of Dona Nobis Pacem by Giulio Caccini and Randall Stroope, and other works by Hildegard von Bingen, Jan Sibelius and Morten Lauridsen. The choral and instrumental forces will be joined by the Sankofa Kuumba Dance Ensemble. Offered free of charge as part of the Richard J. McElraevy Memorial Concert Series.
